ATX Learning is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team for the school year 2024-25 and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement personalized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs • Adapt instructional materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. • Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic and functional areas. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment. • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. • Valid Special Education Teacher Credentials. • Experience working with students with various disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders. • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
